Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF), the Multiple Myeloma Research Consortium (MMRC) and multiple myeloma cancer survivor Kathy Giusti is currently featured in a Parade magazine story Cancer Can’t Stop Me.
In 1996, Ms Giusti was diagnosed with cancer. In 1998, with her twin sister Karen E. Andrews, she founded MMRF. In 2004, she founded MMRC to further research toward better multiple myeloma treatments and ultimately a multiple myeloma cancer cure. With a pharmaceutical background, Harvard MBA and a cancer survivor’s resolve, she is successfully fighting an impressive battle against multiple myeloma.
